People, in almost all age periods; have some goals and purposes that connect them to life. While these goals are aimed at achievements such as having a better toy or having better clothes in mobile games spent time, being stronger, or even directly becoming a superhero like Spider-Man, as they grow older, their frame expands and they inevitably begin to take on a form suitable for the reality of life. Now, that superhero who never runs out of energy has started to wise up; instead of flying from the tops of buildings and saving the world; he has focused on saving his own life.

For most young people preparing for university entrance exams or middle-aged individuals who are trying to fulfill their responsibilities urgently, the situation is just trying to save themselves. However, there is a very important nuance that is forgotten. Even if a person focuses on getting their life back on track quickly; rushing does not always lead to good results.

Sometimes, emptying your mind and dealing with different things can be more productive later. In today’s article, we will discuss the positive effects of focusing on different activities at certain times, especially hobbies, on effective work.

A Short Break

People who have one or more hobbies and spend time on their hobbies at regular intervals can get away from their daily stresses, even for a short time, and relax mentally. New goals are determined within the framework of hobbies and the successes achieved in these activities, which are done with pleasure in order to relax, increase the motivation of individuals towards life, increase their self-confidence and reduce their stress levels. At the same time, some hobbies can be done in a community and extra satisfaction can be achieved with the provision of socialization within the community.

Of course, not every hobby is suitable for every person; the important point here is for the person to acquire hobbies that are suitable for themselves and their abilities. For example, if a person with poor hand coordination wants to play the piano; they may have a very hard time at first, and may never even be able to get beyond a few notes. In such cases, reaching the desired satisfaction late or not at all can negatively affect the person's self-esteem.

Therefore, at least in the early stages, choosing hobbies that people will not have much difficulty in doing will be beneficial in terms of providing early satisfaction towards success and clearing the mind and gaining self-confidence, which is the main goal. In the later stages, if desired, it is even possible to earn financial income from hobbies.

Thus, while the feeling of “I can do it” is strengthened; the gains and rewards obtained as a result of an enjoyable activity can also increase the level of satisfaction. One of the biggest gains of people who have hobbies and spend enough time on their hobbies is the increase in their success levels in other works they do outside of their hobbies. Because hobbies can balance the mind; increase serotonin hormones that make you feel happy and excited; contribute to the development of emotional intelligence, enable people to define themselves better, and generally provide brain training, leading to an increase in success in all other works in life.
